MY GRANDMOTHER'S COOKIES. MRS. J. EDD THOMAS.

Three eggs, two cups sugar, one cup butter and lard, two-thirds cup

sour milk, one teaspoon soda, two teaspoons cream tartar. Flavor with

vanilla. Use flour enough to roll. Stir only with a spoon.
