Recipes Recipe - Famous Recipes - Posole

POSOLE 2-16 oz. cans hominy 1 1/2 lbs. pork cubed 2 cups chicken stock 1 lg. can stewed tomatoes ½ C chopped onion 1 tsp Chili powder !/2 tsp cumin 1 clove garlic - crushed 3 jalapeno or yellow hot peppers, seeded and sliced into long strips Salt & Pepper to taste Brown meat in olive oil in a large stew pot. Add tomatoes, garlic, onion, and chicken stock Cook until tender (about 1 1/2 hours). Add hominy and peppers. Cook for another 20 minutes. Add salt & pepper to taste.
