4# chuck roast, cut into bite size pieces
1 large onion, cut into rings
3c. brown sugar
8oz. liquid smoke
garlic powder,to taste
salt/pepper,to tasste
smoky mesquite seasoning, to taste
mix ALL together and place into gallon size baggie. Merinade 72 hours,
turning frequently. Place tin foil over oven rack and spread out the jerky pieces.
Bake on 200 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Keep in fridge for up to 6 months.
