Fireside Coffee
1 cup half and half
1 unsweetened chocolate baking square, chopped
1 cup hot brewed coffee
6 T. bourbon
1/4 to 1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup whipping cream
1/2 t. vanilla extract
Whipped cream, optional
Microwave half and half in a 2 cup microwave safe glass measuring cup on
high for 2 minutes or until steamy. Pour over chocolate; let stand 1 minutes
and whisk until smooth. Stir in coffee and next 4 ingredients. Top with
whipped cream if desired.
Serve at once.
