Sugar' N 'Spice Cake

1 1/2 cups drained, candied sweet potatoes in syrup 1 pkg(18.5 oz) yellow cake mix 1 tbs pumpkin pie spice 1/2 cup golden raisins 1/2 cup chopped walnuts 2 cans(16 oz each) cream cheese frosting

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 2(9") round cake pans with cooking spray. Mash potatoes. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. At low speed, beat in potatoes and spice. Add raisins and nuts. Divide between pans. Bake 30 min or until toothpick inserted onto centers comes out clean. Cool 5min. Remove from pans, cool completely on rack. Fill out and spread layers with frosting.
