Famous Recipes - Garden Pepperoni Pizza
Garden Pepperoni Pizza 1 carrot, cut into 1/4" pieces 1 small green pepper, cut into 1/4" pieces 1 1/2 cup mushrooms, chopped 1 jar (14oz) pizza sauce 4 tbs chopped fresh parsley 1 lb storebought pizza dough, thawed if frozen 1 cup reduced fat shredded mozzarella cheese 1/3 cup part-skim ricotta cheese 1/2 cup sliced turkey pepperoni
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Coat 12" round pizza pan and nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Place skillet over medium heat; add carrot and green pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until starting to brown, 5min. Add mushrooms; cook, stirring, until softened, 5min. Stir in sauce and 2 tbs parsely, cook until thickened and heated through, 5min. Reserve. On lightly floured surface out dough into 12"circle. Transfer to pan. Spread sauce mixture over dough to within 1/2" of edge. Sprinkle with mozzarella; top with spoonfuls of ricotta. Top with pepperoni. Bake until crust is crisp, 15min. Sprinkle with remaining parsely.
