Famous Recipes - Crab and Asparagus Soup
Category: Soups & Stews Style: Chinese *Description:* We were used to have this soup everytime we went to Chinese Restaurant in Indonesia. My mom loved to cook this for my dad and her chidren.
*Ingredients: *2 tbsp margarine) 3 cloves garlic, chopped 1 yellow onion, chopped 1 litre boiled chicken stocked 1/2 tsp ground white pepper 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp salt 175 grams crab meat 1 can asparagus 100 grams green peas 2 tsp cornstarch cilantro
*Directions:* 1. Pour the chicken stock into a pot and bring to a gently boil over medium heat. Meanwhile heat the margarine in a skillet. Add the garlic and onion, and stir-fry until aromatic. Reduce the heat to medium-low, add the salt, ground white pepper, ground nutmeg, garlic and onion's stir-fry, crab meat, asparagus, green peas and cilantro, bring the soup to boil. 3. Combine the corn starch and water in a small bowl and mix thoroughly to make a slurry. Pour into the boiling soup while stirring and cook for five minutes.
