Pumpkin Trifle

1 lg. pkg. (6 serving size) vanilla pudding mix, NOT instant
1 angel food cake loaf (9 oz) store bought
1 container frozen whipped topping, thawed (8 oz)
1 can pumpkin pie mix (30 oz) you will use 2 cups for this recipe

Make pudding as package directs, beating for 2 minutes. Let set uncovered
in
refrigerator for 15 minutes. Cut up cake in bite sized cubes. Line 1/2 of
the
cubes on the bottom of a 3 quart glass bowl. Mix set pudding with 1 cup
pumpkin pie mix. Blend well by hand. Spread 1/2 of this mixture over
pudding.
Repeat layers, cake cubes, pudding mixture, whipped topping mixture. Cover
bowl
with plastic wrap. Let set in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight. Spoon into
small dessert bowls.
Serves 10-12
