Oven Baked Deep Pit Barbecue
1 beef chuck roast, about 6 to 10 pounds
2 t. liquid smoke, or more to taste
Salt
Pepper
Garlic salt
Heavy duty foil
Rub meat with liquid smoke, then with salt, pepper and garlic salt. Wrap
tight in 2 thicknesses of heavy duty foil with a seam on top. Place in
roasting
pan. Roast in 200 (slow) oven for 10 to 12 hours. Serve with salsa.
