Creamy Apple SquaresIngredients:
1 pkg. yellow cake mix
2 apples, sliced
1/2 cup soft margarine
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon Directions:
Combine first two ingredients, mix until crumbly. Reserve 2/3 cup for
topping. Add brown sugar and cinnamon to reserved topping. Mix well and set
aside. Press remaining mixture into bottom of ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Arrange
apples over this. Blend sour cream and egg. Spread evenly over apples.
Sprinkle reserved topping over all. Bake at 350° for 25-30 minutes. Serve
warm.
