9 inch prepared sweet pastry case.
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/4 oz butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
4 tablespoons syrup
1 tablespoon plain flour, sifted
1 teaspoon ground mixed spice
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup pecan nuts, roughly chopped
To make filling,beat sugar, butter and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
Fold through syrup, flour, mixed spice, cinnamon and pecan nuts.
Spoon filling into pastry case and bake for 35-40 minutes or until firm.
Oven temperature 160C
