Now that recipe could actually be worth a million dollars at the largest cooking contest in the U.S. Entries are now being accepted for the Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest, which has been around for over a half century. And the good news is, it's not pros and pastry chefs who will win - it's ordinary people who enter and succeed.

Entries are now being accepted for the Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest, which has been around for over a half century. And the good news is it's not pros and pastry chefs who will win - it's ordinary people who enter and succeed.
The grand prize winner receives a million dollars and kitchen appliances. Also, $10,000 prizes and appliances will be awarded to winners of individual recipe categories, which range from dinner made easy and quick breakfast foods to simple snacks and cooking for two. The most recent grand prize winner, Suzanne Conrad from Findlay, Ohio, won her million bucks by adding a simple twist to a favorite family pie recipe using refrigerated pie crusts and granola bars.
Entries will be accepted through the end of May, with the contest finals in Miami, Fla. next March. Visit pillsbury.com for entry information and to enter online.
