Spiced Cookie Mix

2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/4 t. ground cloves
1/2 t. allspice
1 t. ground ginger

Combine ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Mix well. Spoon into a large
plastic zipping bag; seal and attach the following instructions:
Place one cup sugar in a small bowl. set aside. Cream 3/4 cup softened
butter, one egg and 1/4 cup molasses; add cookie mix, blending until smooth.
Shape
dough into one inch balls; roll each in sugar. Arrange 2" apart on ungreased
baking sheets; bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Makes 4
dozen
