[world_famous_recipes] Gingersnap Baked Beans

Hello To All!

Joined your cooking club today. Hope all of the members are doing fine
and keeping cool! Canadan temps are coming down our way. The 70's are
my kind of days. Wish we had these temps year round!

Sending a bake bean recipe, my family and friends love. Hope you like
it also! Found this recipe in a 1980's, Woman's World magazine.

Gingersnap Baked Beans

3/4 cup crushed gingersnaps
2 tablespoons onion, chopped
1/4 cup brown sugar or syrup
2-4 strips bacon, fried crisp and crumbled
2 cans(1 pound each) pork and beans
1/4 cup catsup

Mix all ingredients together. Put in a 1-1/2-qt. greased casserole.
Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
