Honey Grilled Onions - Peak's Family Fun Day for CancerCare Manitoba is Thursday, August 19.
3 large onions, peeled & cut into thick slices 3
- extra virgin olive oil -
2 ml balsamic vinegar 1/2 tsp
40 ml honey, warm 3 tbsp
20 ml soy sauce 1 1/2 tbsp
Brush onions with oil; place on baking sheet and bake in preheated 350 F (180 C) oven for 20 minutes or until very tender.
In a small bowl; whisk vinegar, honey and soy sauce. Just before removing onions from oven; brush with honey mixture, heat through and serve.
Serves 4
