[world_famous_recipes] Cinnamon Apples
CINNAMON APPLES AND CREAM

4 granny smith apples
2 tablespoons [ 40 g ] butter
1 tablespoon [20 ml ] lemon juice
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 cup [ 65 ml ] white wine
3 tablespoons chopped nuts
whipped cream

Peel and core the apples and slice thinly.
Melt butter in a pan , add apples and lemon juice and
simmer 1-2 minutes. Stir in sugar, cinnamon and wine, cover
and simmer 5-6 minutes, until apples are almost soft.
Serve topped with nuts and whipped cream.
