The joke was not meant to, in any way, shape, form or fashion offend. I
apologize to those that took it the wrong way. The person who sent it to me lives
in W. Va. and calls himself a "Mountain William," and proud to be the subject
that invokes smiles and laughter. People are all different. I truly didn't
mean to make anyone angry or defensive.
The reason we fill in the subject line is to give a person an idea of the
e-mails content. If you think you won't enjoy the content, please don't read it.
There is enough in this world to be unhappy about without consciously
putting more on ones plate.
Again, I am sorry the joke wasn't taken for what it was - a joke.....not a
geographical slur.
